In this second installment of the MADE series, REDFworkshop.org profiles Denver social enterprise Mile High Workshop, their multi-disciplined business plan and their unwavering mission to help those in transition.

 

Mile High Workshop is an employment and job-training program for those facing barriers to work through the manufacturing and production of handmade goods. The Workshop provides manufacturing services in sewing, woodworking, laser etching/cutting, and handmade assembly, in order to employ men and women rebuilding from homelessness, addictions, and incarceration. By having a diverse range of services and clients, Mile High Workshop is able to train employees a multitude of skills making them even more employable down the road.
