Optional Workshop: Trauma-Informed Supervision and Leadership

Trauma-Informed Supervision and Leadership
- Session Title: Trauma-Informed Supervision and Leadership
- Workshop Description: In this two-hour workshop, participants will learn how to apply trauma-informed principles and practices in managing people and teams, holding staff and employees accountable, and developing your trauma-informed and trauma-responsive leadership skills. You will get hands-on practice with key tools and frameworks and leave the session with additional tools and resources. Please come prepared to participate fully. If you are not familiar with the basics of the brain science of trauma and how it affects us mentally and physically, please view this presentation recording prior to the workshop (be patient with the upload time, feel free to start at 4:50 and listen at 1.5 speed!). This recording reviews CSW’s Trauma and Resilience Quick Guides, so if you prefer to read rather than view, you can download the short guides here.
