About This Resource
Employment social enterprises (ESEs) use a variety of tools and processes to get to know new participant workers and understand their goals, histories, barriers and needs upon entering an ESE’s employee success program. This process typically happens during intake and aids employee success program staff in tracking participant workers’ progress over time.
The table below provides an overview of six different assessment tools that ESEs can consider using to understand the baseline needs of their participant workers and measure progress over time.
Note: This is not a comprehensive list of all potential options for barrier/needs assessment tools. REDF welcomes any feedback and input on other assessment tools to add to this resource.
