About This Resource
This session was part of the 2022-2023 Strengthen Program Design CE Series
This session will revisit the framework we learned in session 1, which invites attendees to consider how they might reduce frictions and barriers for participants at each step of the employment social enterprise experience. While the activity in session 1 focused on the first phase of contact with your participants (recruiting and hiring), the focus of session 2 will be on the onboarding, employment, and performance management phase of the participant experience.
The program design framework is brought to us by The Hub at New Moms (which runs the Bright Endeavors social enterprise). You’ll be prompted to draw the connections between program design, environmental modifications, and goal progression within your own programs. This session will also include time to reflect on application of new knowledge/tools in your own program design through peer-to-peer engagement and group discussion.
Audience: It is designed for program directors or managers (i.e., senior program staff with ability to make decisions on program model and supports); and CEOs, Executive Directors, or Enterprise Directors/Managers with responsibility for program design.
