Purpose
The Employer Partner Quality Rubric helps ESEs evaluate potential and existing employer partners by providing clear standards across each stage of relationship development from Pre-Screening to Discovery Calls to Making the Case to Ongoing Cultivation.
This rubric is a tool for ESEs to assess, track, and strengthen their employer partnerships over time. It helps ESEs capture key qualitative and quantitative information across multiple partnership dimensions so they can see, at a glance, where relationships are strong and where there is room to grow. By documenting information consistently, this rubric also supports smooth handoffs during staff transitions and helps maintain relationship continuity.
The tool is intended to support ESEs as they:
- Gather and track consistent information about employer partners
- Identify high-quality partners that align with participant needs and organizational goals
- Strengthen relationships through structured conversations and feedback loops
- Use a dashboard view to monitor progress and guide strategic decision-making
