Workshop Description: As ESE Leaders of employment social enterprises, you might often have to think about both the business part of your organization (e.g. generating revenue) and the impact side (e.g. providing support services to participants). However, do you sometimes wish you could understand how financially healthy each of these parts of your organization are? The Double Bottom Line (DBL) financial analysis is a great skill to understand how financially self-sustaining each part of your ESE is. In this session, we will dive deep into what a Double-Bottom Line (DBL) analysis is, how it can be helpful, and how your organization can begin to utilize a DBL approach.
Workshop Description: To grow both your impact and business, your organization may need access to capital (i.e., money). However, this money can come in many different forms such a donations or loans. What are the different types of impact capital your organization can access? How can I decide what’s best for my organization? These are some of the questions that will be covered in this session.
